Unrelated but the Pakistani Taliban has confirmed that Adnan Shukrijumah is dead so no clue what more the FBI wants in order to remove him from their wanted list.

  2. Confirmed? You mean by sending an email to McClatchy? Well OK. But remember, Izzat al-Duri died at least twice before he died.

Uh, the U.S. never confirmed Douri's death. An audiotape allegedly from Douri was even released which mentioned current events.

At least RFJ removed Shukrijumah from their wanted list last January so the TTP's statement is credible. The TTP also released a martyrdom statement via e-mail last year.

Might not be much but then again Shukrijumah is no longer wanted by RFJ.

  5. I've not heard even one US official mention Al Douri in the last few years, dead or not. I have heard the US press mention that he's dead, but not come back and mention that he's apparently a zombie. Strange.
