Condemnation of a Shooting

The Holocaust Museum shooting is a sad event and one rational conservatives everywhere should condemn in the strongest possible terms. Consider it condemned from here. There is a fringe element on the right that just might be more potent than their left wing counterparts and denying it is just as pointless as denying the Holocaust itself. Napolitano's report was at least partially correct, even if leaked for political purposes.

That said, the left should resist the temptation of trying to score points off this by trying to keep this story in the news cycle. Surely there are emotions and feelings that need to be understood, and perhaps even some guilt. Matter of fact, to be on the safe side perhaps the judge assigned to Von Brunn's case should issue a gag order--if nothing else but to calm the waters and ensure due process takes place.

This is the kind of mid west attitude, living in the middle of nowhere and listening to Rush Limbaugh on the radio breeds this kind of pro Sarah Palin thinking. It's not American, it's idiotness at it's highest. When are we going to to hold Rush Limbaugh accountable for breeding this kind of thinking. I guess it must be the corn field logic that breeds animals like this guy.

Well let's see. Mr. Van Terrorist claimed to have served on a patrol boat in World War II then worked as an advertising executive and film producer in New York City. He claimed to have a journalism degree.

He was first arrested in the early 80s for threatening members of the Fed Reserve. For those living outside the corn belt that would actually be a tad before Rush Limbo arrived on the national scene.

And not to mention he seems to share some of the same anti-semetic views of Obama's former paster/mentor Rev Wright about "them jews".

But yeah, you're probably right. It's probably the corn.

To Anonymous: I despise racism in any form, and I really despise people that claim that racism comes from the midwest or the south, racism is global it is everywhere, you can blame whoever you want, but in reality you are no better than the man who did the shooting, you are being prejudiced against people because of where they live. I was born in Illinois and reside in the south. I have seen racism first hand and it's disgusting no matter who the prejudiced the person is!

It's a sad note on the pages of history that some people will forever deny the holocaust, I personally knew a lady who still had the numbers tattooed on her arm. I also was lucky enough to have known a German lady who fled Nazi Germany with her family, because they were horrified by what was happening in their country. The holocaust did happen it is not a lie. Good post AC.
