Immigration man

President Bush, that is. He's toying with a new plan to perhaps have one domestic legacy before leaving office.
"Congress can pass a comprehensive bill and I can sign it into law this year," Bush said, without offering a detailed proposal.
Is there such a word as "dangerosity"? For some reason it comes to mind and hey, it could be a Bushism.

My position on illegal immigration has not changed--we need a guest worker program that can track all entrants to the country but there can absolutely be no amnesty whatsoever. Penalties must be levied against those who openly admit to being illegal.

As bad as this sounds America may be better off having Bush involved in a bill than a Democrat Congress and a Democrat President beyond 2008. We'll just have to see what comes down the pike.

Meanwhile, Right Truth has much more including this video, which cleverly reverses the roles.

Yee haw.
