In comparison, John Edwards' support of his newly hired/fired/hired far left bloggers makes Joe Biden's racial slip-up look quite bland. Rarely will you see such a blatant example of political spin as displayed in his contradictory statement. It's almost akin to hiring David Duke as a spokesman, firing him with an denouncement of racism, then hiring him back under the auspices of "a fair shake" after a storm of complaints by his racist friends. Not quite, but almost.

As to Edwards, forgive me, but if that represents his display of management style under pressure I don't believe he qualifies for the White House. It's not like this is the Miss USA Pageant or something.
