The H-bomb is becoming more common than the F-bomb lately. Latest participants to use the Hitler benchmark are Newt Gingrich, Angela Merkel, Don Rumsfeld, and now Hugo Chavez: "The imperialist, genocidal, fascist attitude of the U.S. president has no limits. I think Hitler would be like a suckling baby next to George W. Bush,"Note to Hillary--you're got some work to do--you're nobody if you haven't been compared to the Fuhrer.
But Chavez added some South American street flair to his crazed rhetoric for good measure. Keep in mind the following was uttered by a world leader..
I ask for permission ... to buy another cargo of arms because the gringos want us unarmed. We have to defend our fatherland,"Fatherland, huh? Better check his closet for SS uniforms.
How can you possibly make this stuff up? While the Muslim world goes crazy, burning buildings and threatening beheadings over a few cartoons, world leaders are actually behaving like cartoon characters. The frightening thing is these people have most of the oil.
