A wiretap, a leak, and a beautiful woman

The latest story involving the words "wiretap" and "leak" don't involve Bush (at least not yet) or the NSA, rather hockey's Great One, Wayne Gretzky. The Gretz' wife is currently up to her turtleneck in a sports gambling probe:
Wayne Gretzky was recorded on a wiretap talking to the alleged financier of a gambling ring, discussing how the hockey great's wife could avoid being implicated, a person with knowledge of the investigation told The Associated Press on Thursday.
I'm sure the NHL has gone into defcon one from their previous state of defcon three of trying to smooth over last year's strike and Mario Lemeuix's retirement. But I can hear the corny jokes.. ..went to a sports book and a hockey game broke out..

Personally, I'm getting a little tired of these people "with knowledge of the investigation" running around blabbing to anyone with a microphone. That goes for all sectors of American life. Even our precious national security secrets aren't safe, yet as a woman pointed out on talk radio today, "we never see leaks about who's going to get an Oscar or who might win on Survivor Island".
