No wonder BP closing Prudhoe

They've been trying to run pigs through the pipeline:
The decision follows the receipt on Friday, August 4 of data from a smart pig run completed in late July.
Wonder if this was the smart pig?

The good news is that BP's analyst is already on top of things:
BP's closure of its Prudhoe Bay oil field in Alaska underscores the company's failure to adequately maintain and invest in its North American assets, a Morningstar analyst believes.
Well, it certainly can't be due to a lack of jingle in the ole piggy bank:
Continued Strong Performance
Forecasts call for revenue to be a tad higher in the third quarter amidst significant PR storms.
