As to the 1993 WTC scene, notice they were NOT suicide bombers, to the point of getting agitated upon trying to escape the parking garage. Also notice it was a Ryder rental. Many might also be surprised at the power of that explosion and the intended outcome, of course some might also believe the evil mouse overdramatized it.

Looks like they completely airbrushed Yasin's role in the bombing and the FBI's bungling of his interrogation allowing him to flee to Baghdad.
---
"Rashid" was Yousef's alias,
---
Yousef definitely forced a paradigm shift. Terrorism was no longer a quid pro quo event it's goal was to kill and maim. Or to take revenge.
---
Just saw the Clinton finger wag part. Wasn't that one of the parts to be airbrushed? Ballsy move by ABC. Everyone needs to be watching this.
---
NA Moussoud (sp?) remarked that UBL recruited the poor disaffected Muslims. I'd add they're also ignorant since they agree to become human ordnance. How does one change THAT paradigm? Seems we have three choices--promote democracy, whack moles, or convert to Islam.
---
Clinton's 1998 cruise missile party: good job describing the anger present in the "Arab/Muslim street" after the failed bombings, something now totally forgotten. But they failed to mention the aspirin factory was thought to be connected to Iraq.
---
Since ABC generated the famed Sheila MacVicar report in 1999 (link below) suggesting ties between Saddam and AQ, it's surprising we didn't see it on their own terrorism program. Right?
Looks like the airbrushing might have been confined to removing any nefarious links to Iraq.
---
Or perhaps those Iraq links were never included to begin with. Hot Air blog has the side-by-sides of cut vs uncut, and I could find no mention of Yasin or the suspected Iraq connection to the Khartoum attack. Don't know if intentional, just curious.
Also, I didn't catch a segment on either the Khobar Towers or the Cole bombing, both involving US Military personnel. Did I just turn my head and miss it, or were they not included?

Based on Instapundit's link to a reviewer west of the dateline who's already watched part 2 it appears they jumped out of sequnce in part 1 and will indeed cover the Cole attack. Serves me right for using a stream of consciousness approach, but hey, it's only a blog.
