Obama Pep Talk to the Dogs

This Times has the inside baseball scoop on what the One told his flock before the health care vote, mentioning 'teabag' people and 'extremists'. Not sure how he thinks the Blue Dogs will win their districts with the GOP hammering them on their voting for trillions in new entitlements--he must have promised them something very interesting (maybe help from a new improved ACORN?). But this comment from one lawmaker says it all:

“This is an opportunity to do something as big as Social Security,” he added. “And me, personally, I don’t want to be on the wrong side of history.”

Hmm, that's funny. At last check Social Security was hurtling towards insolvency. It's as if some of these people never owned a piggy bank.
