Didn't he do "the Devil went down to Georgia" or whatever the name of the song is. I tried violin once, very difficult instrument to play. Of course he plays the FIDDLE.

Yes, don't confuse the two! ;-) Yes, CD is known most for the Devil Went Down to GA, but he was actually on the forefront of the Country Rock movement in the 70s and did a lot of blues rock back then. He also did that song "Uneasy Rider".

Saw him twice.
He did not disappoint either time. He was an awesome performer.
In one show he drank Jack and cokes throughout, yet never missed a lick or a chord.
