Poli-sci warning

Newsbusters managed to catch a cable meteorologist who dared to buck the environmental gestapo by applauding the actions of a British judge regarding Al Gore's Academy Award winning poli-sci thriller "An Inconvenient Truth":
CNN Meteorologist Rob Marciano clapped his hands and exclaimed, "Finally," in response to a report that a British judge might ban the movie "An Inconvenient Truth" from UK schools because, according to "American Morning," "it is politically biased and contains scientific inaccuracies."
Mr. Marciano seems focused on Katrina:
"The biggest thing I have a problem with is this implication that Katrina was caused by global warming."
Think he's out of line? Take a visit over to Laurie David's website "stopglobalwarming.org" and check out their cause and effect predictions regarding warming and hurricanes. For those who don't like to click, here's a snippet:
Super powerful hurricanes, fueled by warmer ocean temperatures are the “smoking gun” of global warming.
One little problem--this is not the consensus of the experts. And, as we've seen with these past two hurricane seasons, our scientists are not real swift at making long-term forecasts, something to keep in mind when considering that Ms. David's site is the main conduit for distribution of Gore's mega long-term forecast flick to school kids.

But who's kidding whom? Heidi Cullen has yet to render final judgment!
