Condemnation for Coulter

No news here, just wanted to go on record as condemning what Ann Coulter said about John Edwards. That kind of junior high school dialog doesn't belong in the public political discourse, whether it be on the Huffington Post or CPAC. Coulter needs to apologize, now.

As to Howard Dean calling her out:
“While Democrats and Republicans may disagree on the issues, we should all be able to agree that this kind of vile rhetoric is out of bounds. The American people want a serious, thoughtful debate of the issues,” the press release read.
Stunning hypocrisy in light of the words his jaw has flapped out.

As to candidate Edwards, had he not first hired, then hesitated before firing those two hate-spewing Pandagoners he'd be in a much stronger moral position right now, eh?

One more thought..

Some might say this makes McCain's decision to avoid CPAC look better. Not sure if that's true for the base but it might be for the moderates and Democrats McCain was trying to impress by avoiding the CPAC. That gave rise to a quick thought that Coulter might be some kind of rogue agent for the Democrats, but it quickly disappeared. She's pretty much in-character and has made a lot of money saying outrageous things. Her target audience won't be very offended.
