Check out the picture that goes along with this story. It makes Secretary of State Dr. Condoleeza Rice look like she just picked something out of her teeth.
C'mon AP, did all the other shots on the roll have a finger over the lens? At least they didn't stoop to USA Today's level of depicting Rice as a demon woman.
As to the story itself, aside from a few veiled pot shots at her intelligence there's not much of note. It's correct to say the world doesn't give a flying fajita about Saddam's trial, but it's not because of the death penalty, it's because we actually removed him. Or on second thought, maybe it's that Oil for Food thing..
