If Cantor is the GOP's Future...

...I don't think I want it:
Today, 10 Republicans joined the Grabby Hands Democrats in passing the new “Pay for Performance Act” — to curb “excessive” employee pay at financial firms that receive government bailout funds,
How could any Republican vote for this populist nonsense? Well, as Malkin points out, even more voted for the last round of kneejerk nonsense. Eric Cantor's "present" vote is clearly a positional move designed to protect viability down the line or some other similar strategical garbage of which leadership isn't a part.

Setting pay, are they kidding? This bill should be a gimme in helping explain the conservative ideology, illustrating the age old conundrum of liberalism--defining the rich. Cantor needs to be shoulder to shoulder with Cavuto in demanding they produce a number. Instead he's hiding in the media room, or cloak room, or wherever they hide. Maybe it's time to call the Plumber again.

The GOP is part of our problem. If I hear yet another Republican say the words “loyal opposition,” I’m going to send that idiot a blistering letter.

There are significant problems with our present political system, and the GOP is expressing loyal opposition. How is it possible for the GOP to support a process that nationalizes industries, proposes compliance with Shar’ia Law, and embraces trans-nationalist ideology, which, if implemented, obviates our own Constitution?

I suppose it is possible that I simply didn't get the memo concerning the GOP's new strategy for success, but from what I've observed so far, I cannot be more disgusted with the RNC than I am now. It makes me wonder if Al-Qaeda has already poisoned the water inside the beltway.

These guys, both Dem and Rep, need to drop the party loyalty crap and get some loyalty to the country, and to the Constitution.

Hey Obama voted "Present" 99% of the time he was a Senator, and he's President if the US now. Maybe Cantor is following in his footsteps.

It is shameful that even ONE Republican would go along with this. On the other hand, this is good for Conservatives. We are seeing who these people really are and when we step into the voting booth next time, we WILL remember.

I hear a lot of talk about third parties. I usually remind people a third party will only hand the Dems a permanent majority. I'm wondering if it matters much.
