At What Point is it Acceptable..

To call Obama a socialist? Is it after this:
The new rules will cover all financial institutions, including those not now covered by any pay rules because they are not receiving federal bailout money.
Or this:
In some, participants discussed the president's agenda. In others, they set out to homes, subway stations and farmers' markets, asking people to sign forms in which they pledge support for "President Obama's bold approach for renewing America's economy" and commit to asking friends, family and neighbors to do the same.
Or perhaps this:
And what we need is steady growth; we need young people, instead of -- a smart kid coming out of school, instead of wanting to be an investment banker, we need them to decide they want to be an engineer, they want to be a scientist, they want to be a doctor or a teacher. And if we're rewarding those kinds of things that actually contribute to making things and making people's lives better, that's going to put our economy on solid footing. We won't have this kind of bubble-and-bust economy that we've gotten so caught up in for the last several years.
Or something much worse? Just wondering.

Whatever we decide is worse today, be sure there will be something worse tomorrow, and the next day, and the next ...

On another note:

I really am fed up. It seems people out there are so quick to judge. In the past few weeks I've had people in my real life, not my blog life, to get upset and offended.

I support Israel, "oh my we can't have that, someone will get offended and not want to hear our band play..."

I have a friend who has a confederate flat, "oh no, we can't have somebody like that around, people will think you are racist..."

I write about Islam and terrorism, "oh no we can't have any connection to you and that on your blog,... they might get offended"

I'm sick of it.

These are people who are supposed to be friends.

One more thing someone asked me...

"Is that actually YOU in that picture, with that "thing" on..."

I said that is my face and hair, the rest of a photo-manipulation. It's red, white and blue, the American flag, patriotic, it's my favicon, my gravitar, whatever [you moron]"

No I did not say "you moron" but I sure thought it.

I'm sensing a lot of frustration out there, Debbie. It's depressing to say the least. The terrorists are winning by Obama's mere presence in office, made especially clear after his ridiculous performance on 60 Minutes tonight. Aside from his laughing at the bailout situation he had the nerve to say the previous admin has not kept America safe. What a crock this guys shovels out. Jiminy Christmas he won already, the campaign is over. He needs to pass on such pettiness but seemed to revel in getting Cheney back, just like some angry message board poster.

He appears to think that Gitmo and Abu Graihb are what's causing the terrorists' anger. If so, he's frighteningly clueless on the issue and will get people killed. I pecked out a post on it but can't seem to organize my thoughts enough to send it.

I am sick of this politically correct nonoffensive bullsh!t. I respect anyone who speaks their mind without fearing others opinions. I say let them get offended. BTW, I like your icon.
